Jon Truei, fight choreographer and action supervisor

Jon Truei is currently a junior at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, majoring in Film and Television Production and minoring in Producing. As an aspiring director for film, advertising, and music video, he has developed an extensive background of experience within the New York film industry, working in equipment rentals at Du-All Camera and apprenticing himself in independent commercial and music video production at Ghost Robot, Inc.

An accomplished student editor, he recently served as the editor for the "Best Comedy" award winning NYU CampusMovieFest short film "" and the collaborating editor on the music video for Diane Birch's single "Valentino," produced by Radical Media. He has also served as a member of the editing team at the Soho-based publishing company, Open Road Integrated Media.

In addition to his training in traditional filmmaking, Jon is also an accomplished fight choreographer and action director, with over seven years experience collaborating with established stunt performers and coordinators across the globe. Throughout this time, Jon has developed an ongoing working relationship with "GI Joe: Special Missions: Operation Red Retrieval" director Mark Cheng, serving as Mark's choreographer and action supervisor. Most recently, Jon's comic book influenced action short film, "Frank McCuff: Police Force Vigilante" was selected to premiere in the Big Apple Film Festival at Tribeca Cinemas. Alongside his studies, Jon is currently working as a research and production intern for Radical Media in Manhattan.
